Garden Designs The focal point of this planting area is a custom water feature. The water softly trickles down the stone, wetting the Irish moss tucked between the surfaces. Behind the fountain a Zebra grass reaches upward 5-6', providing a variegated backdrop. To the left is Phlox 'David', a mildew resistant white, fronted by Panicum 'Shenandoah', (a switch grass with many burgundy blades). Black-eyed Susans, German statice and Geranium, 'Dilys', (a low grower with magenta flowers that bloom all summer) and Veronica 'Royal Candles' with its striking blue blooms complete the palate in front.
